Factories of the Future Community Day 2018 in Brussels, Belgium
On 27th of June 2018, THOMAS project's partner LMS travelled in Brussels, Belgium in order to participate in Factories of the Future Community Day 2018. THOMAS project's main concept presented to workshop's visitors by LMS using one presentation dedicated to THOMAS project. Workshop's visitors were very interested about project's results. On 4th of September 2018 LMS was in Torino, Italy organizing a workshop on IoT and Industrial Robotics for human operator support: case studies and challenges in terms of IEEE ETFA 2018 conference. As a member of THOMAS EU project's consortium, LMS presented project's main concept. Representatives from both the academy and industry were there exchanging knowledge and past experience.

THOMAS EU project had a strong representation in IROS 2018 conference with a booth dedicated to THOMAS project (LMS) and ROBOCEPTION's participation in "Examining Sensing Modalities for robust and dexterous object manipulation" workshop. THOMAS EU project participated on the Changeable, agile, reconfigurable and virtual production (CARV) 2018 conference that took place in Nantes, France from the 8th to 10th of October 2018. LMS partner presented THOMAS EU project's digital twin model for adaptation of robots behavior in flexible robotics lines. THOMAS presentation can be found uploaded in THOMAS EU project's portal here. Workshop's audience was very interesting about the reconfiguration time and the selected geometrical calibration procedure of this model.

From 10th to 12th of October 2018, LMS partner was in Paris (France) in order to present in cooperation with PSA the latest results of THOMAS EU project. The main concept of THOMAS EU project presented using both Aeronautic and Automotive pilot cases' simulation videos. From 1st to 5th of April 2019 ROBOCEPTION partner was in Hannover, Germany in order to participate in Hannover Messe 2019 conference. Find out more »THOMAS 6th General Assembly Meeting at TECNALIA
THOMAS 6th General Assembly meeting took place in TECNALIA (Spain) on 10th and 11th of September 2019. All partners of THOMAS consortium were able to physically discuss and review the current status of THOMAS developments and their level of integration inside each use case of the project. Finally they reviewed the current status of each THOMAS use case and agreed on what is expected to be presented in the upcoming Review Meeting of the project scheduled for November 2019.

THOMAS EU Project participated in the European Robotics Forum (ERF) 2021 which took place virtually from 13th to 15th of April 2021. The results of the project were presented during the “8th Workshop on Hybrid Production Systems" and the “Towards Applied AI in Agile Production” workshops organized by LMS and ROBOCEPTION accordingly. Through these workshops, LMS presented the customization of THOMAS Open Production Station for the automotive pilot case while capturing valuable feedback from the workshops' participants.
